Decorating your home in an Old English Décor will instantly add charm and elegance. Colors are abundant, and color hues are very natural, such as pinks and yellows from roses found within an English garden, or the greens from rolling hills on an English countryside. Flowers are seen decorating vases, window treatments, furniture, rugs, etc.
Adding lamps, candles, or classic chandeliers is also evident in English home décor. Rather than using recessed lighting, lamps give off a warm and comfortable light.
Simplicity is key in this style of decorating. Don’t overdo and add too much to tables, mantels, or even walls. Just a hint of color goes a long way.
