Thanksgiving Home Décor
Christmas is the decorator’s dream. Practically everyone spends hours decorating for the holiday season, but most people will only spend their time decorating for Christmas. Thanksgiving, although a day filled with family gatherings and a festive atmosphere, is normally pushed aside in the home décor aspect. Decorating your home for Thanksgiving is something that takes little time, and is very inexpensive. If you plan to host a Thanksgiving feast, your home should reflect the merriment of your day. There are a few minor things that you can do, which do not take up a lot of time, to give your guests a wonderful atmosphere to go along with the wonderful meal that you will create.
Consider creating a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table. Small pumpkins and goards can be purchased very inexpensively, and put together with pine cones and/or pine twigs, these can make a beautiful centerpiece. Add a red candle in the center, and perhaps tie some red velvet ribbon around, and you have created a very inexpensive, but very festive Thanksgiving Day centerpiece to accent your table.
You can also purchase, very inexpensively, a lace tablecloth and fall themed placemats and runners to add to your holiday décor. You can also invest in packages of fall colored silk leaves. These are inexpensive also, and can be place around picture frames or sprinkled on your table for a very beautiful Autumn effect. You could also pin them to fabric curtains for an even greater Thanksgiving décor. Finally, adding a basket of apples to a china cabinet in your dining room, or the countertop in your kitchen will bring the Thanksgiving feeling instantly into the room. Consider simmering apple cider when you have guests. The smell will instantly put them into the Thanksgiving spirit. Cider can also be used during the Christmas decorating season.

I love Thanksgiving! Its a wonderful day to spend time with your love ones and be thankful for everything. Its amazing how smells and decorations play a part in creating memories. Thanks for the information. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving
